《以賽亞書56:3-4》中的難題
By Tin-chee Lo (盧天賜) 上主日牧師的講道涉及這段經文。在《以賽亞56:3-7》中,上帝說,「我現在可以使用太監來事奉我,他們不再是天國中的廢人,像 “枯樹” 一搬。只要他們作我所喜悅的事,他們就可以參與宗教事務。」 這幾節經文讓我一開始便思緒萬千, 腦海中浮現出五個問題,期待牧師在講道中提供答案: 1* 當上帝讓被閹割的男人事奉時,這便暗示以前上帝曾經禁止過他們事奉。這有聖經根據嗎? 2* 如有,原因何在? 3* 以賽亞先知宣告廢除禁令,是否代表那位「昨天,今天,永遠, 都是不改變」的上帝竟然改變祂的旨意嗎? 4* 這改變的原因何在? 5* 這改變的原因與原先設定禁令的原因是否矛盾? 但可能因牧師所強調的重點不同,所以他對這些問題沒有正式回答。然而我却認為若不明白這幾句經文的背景,我們就失去了深入欣賞上帝的恩典和憐憫的機會。以下是我對這五個問題的思考: 1* 在《以賽亞書56:3-4》之前上帝真的有這種規定嗎? 答案是「有」!在《申命記23:1》中,上帝指示那些被閹割的男人不可進入耶和華的會中參與宗教事務。 2* 這種規定的原因何在? 首先,我們必須相信,這個禁令一定有些屬靈的教導在其中。根據以下的經文,這個禁令是有預表性的。 《利未記22:21-22 》說到祭司所獻的牛羊必需是無殘疾的,才能使他們的祭品蒙神的悅納。 現在把無殘疾的牛羊,延伸到獻祭的人身上。《利未記21:16-23》明確地說明:亞倫世世代代的的後裔 (祭司)、凡在他們中間有殘疾的、雖然有成為祭司的可能性,都不可近前來履行宗教的活動。 現在再把無殘疾的祭司, 延伸到上帝子民身上。《申命記23:1》表明若他們中間凡有身體缺陷的、例如那些沒有生殖能力的太監,都不可近前來參予聖工。 從這三處經文,我們可以提煉出一個屬靈的預表原則,就是「身體的缺陷」在舊約時代是可以用來 “比喻” 成「屬靈的缺陷。」正是因爲這個原則,上帝制定這種規定表明祂的聖潔。 這種 “比喻” 法,在新約中得到了肯定: 《彼得前書1:19》論到「基督的寶血、如同無瑕疵無玷污的羔羊之血。」這裡的「如同」就是「被比喻為」之意。這「比喻」的最深層的意義,就是預表只有無罪的基督,才能完成救贖之功。 … Continue reading
