兩座山的對比
By TC Lo 盧天賜 (December 5, 2011) 在探索宗教的要素過程中, 呈現出一個著名且受歡迎的 “山的類比 mountain analogy.” 在這類比中, 我們看到一幅圖畫: 神在山頂上, 人類在山脚下. 歷世歷代的宗教故事只不過是描述人如何從山的底基往上爬, 一直爬到山峯, 人在那裏就可以與神交通, 人在那裏就可以與神和好. 這座山有很多條路. 有些路是非常直接的. 有些路是迂迴曲折地繞着山的各處而往上行的, 但每一條路都能到達山頂. 因此, 擁護這個類比的人都認為所有宗教的道路, 雖然各有不同, 但最終都能達到同一地點. 這個類比的問題在那裡呢? 我想這個類比的背後, 有一個不言而喻的假設—-所有宗教基本上是相同, 只是面表上相異而矣. 這是大錯特錯的假設. 這個假設引伸出來的結論—“所有宗教的神都是一樣, 只是稱呼不同” –也是大錯特錯的. 然而我們所相信的是: 所有宗教基本上是相異; 只是表面上有相似的形式. 讓我們觀看三個有代表性的宗教: … Continue reading
