John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I am heavy-laden with sins which like as red as crimson. I am oppressed by the burden so heavy that I am not able to stand up before God. But once I turn and behold the precious Cross of Christ, I at once discover that God had already prepared for me a Way: From the dark, dank marshland of hopelessness, I saw a ladder reaching up to the Third Heaven where the Divine throne is firmly set. Therein, I saw reconciliation between God and men. I then look around on earth and realize that my sins have been forgiven and the desolate land is shined with great light of love. My spiritual eyes are opened; I saw God’s face and His glory. Wow! I am saved! I see the smile of My Heavenly Father who rejoices together with a vast number of holy angels. A meaningless life has transformed into meaningful life. I am awed by the Creation and inescapably marvel at the beauty of the blue sky and silver clouds. The Bible becomes the guide of my life. I am constrained by Christ’s love and illumination; I have a glorious hope laid before me. I begin to come to realize what Grace is all about. Amen.
我罪惡深重, 紅如丹颜, 我被罪所压, 双脚無力, 我在神面前站立不住, 但當我仰望十字宝架, 發現原來神巳為我開了一條又新又活的路, 在死蔭之地竟然有獨一無二的天梯上達三层天, 就是神宝座之所在, 在那裡我看到天人合一, 在地上我看到神巳與我和好並我罪得赦, 死陰之地竟然有愛的大光照射, 這光開啟了我的灵眼, 看到神的面, 神的榮耀. 我得救了, 不但天父高興, 連天使也歡呼. 原來绝望黑暗的生命, 現在竟变得有意義: 我看到神創造的青天白雲的偉大而赞歎, 我有聖經—神的話語—作我生活的準則, 我有基督的愛的激勵和光照, 我有永生的盼望. 這豈非是神兒女感恩的心声嗎? (TC)
